The BlaBla Kids Doll Could Not Have Arrived At A Better Time...

Our youngest child is teething right now! He's not just teething a little, but currently has four budding teeth trying to push thru his gums...and is in pretty rough shape over it. These should be the last four teeth that we will be getting in for some time. His poor nose (though I know is not related if you ask any physician) is raw from running and I've been giving him ibprofen to help him deal with the pain. POOR GUY!

There is nothing a mommy likes least, than to see her baby in such writhing pain and not be able to do much about it. If only there was something we could give them to magically take every pain they ever feel away...it'd make our job as a mom a much easier one. But since we can't, we have to find some alternatives...to help pacify the problems.

Now, when I was first contacted by this company...I'll be completely honest...I wasn't sure what I would think about the product they were sending us (free of charge) to try out. I think they have some down right adorable clothes, blankets, accessories, etc. But the product they chose to have reviewed was their Inoo-Lala Boogaloos Doll. "Hmmm",...I thought to myself..."this might be very interesting!" I was curious how my kids would react to the doll and what they would do with it when they actually were able to play with it. It's like nothing they have ever seen before.
So, when I pulled it out of the box, I was impressed by the squishy factor that it offered. I just wanted to squeeze it. It was made out of soft 100% cotton and just seemed loveable.
So my first test was on my 3 year old. I handed it to her and she threw it down. I, playing funny, said, "don't do that to my Inoo-lala." The name seemed funny to her and since I was doing it with a playful tone, she picked it back up and threw it down again. Laughing, this time we continued to play this back and forth game until she finally started to squeeze it and hug it and even lay on it. I think she really likes it! She almost seemed comforted by it in some way! I like that a lot!

The real test came when the "little guy" woke up from his nap. I was curious what he would think. At first, he didn't seem to interested in him...and then, after a few minutes...he really warmed up to it (he was snuggling all over it). So much so, that he was carrying it all around the house! He even took it up the stairs with him! When we left to take my daughter to the bus stop, he wanted to bring it and cuddled right now with it as we left. It seemed consoling to him as well! And like I said in the title...this couldn't have come at a better time...just when he needed something to cuddle with and help him take his focus off his teething pain.

Now, I know that not every kid will have this EXACT reaction to this toy. However, both my younger kids (and myself) wanted to squeeze and cuddle this Inoo-Lala BlaBla Kids doll. There is just something about it! Curious how your child will react? Want the opportunity to find out?

(1) Lucky Winner will get to bring Inoo-Lala into your home, just in time for the holidays! This might make the perfect holiday gift for someone on your list.

Radio City "Christmas Spectacular" Was ABSOLUTELY Spectacular

Our night arrived...the night our family had been waiting for for well over a month! After getting a tour of Radio City Music Hall, helping NYC kick off (with the worlds longest kick line) the 2009 Radio City Christmas Spectacular, and even getting to help decorate amazing cupcakes from the world reknowned Magnolia Bakery...we also received complimentary tickets for our family of 6 (yes all six of us) to attend OPENING NIGHT of the 2009 Radio City "Christmas Spectacular" Show in NYC. If you want to see my blog about that event, CLICK HERE!

Since we were attending a truly remarkable opportunity for our family, I wanted to make sure the my kids were dressed in their Sunday best!
This was our first trip driving into NYC. Thankfully, my husband drove and we had the Garmin along to guide us in the right direction. Though we left a few minutes later than I was hoping to, we still made it down there in plenty of time and I got in line to receive my 6 tickets, along with lots of other excited MOMMY bloggers, anxiously awaiting admittance into the Radio City Music Hall. When we got our tickets, we headed straight in to find our seats in the filling auditorium. Of course, we got a few looks from people, as we paraded through with four young children in tow. LOL! It looked a lot different than it did when we toured it a month or so ago. Most of the seats were occupied (and this is no "LITTLE" theater) & it was decorated for Christmas. We got a little guidance, to find our seats, and I was amazed at how close we were to the stage. We were about 15 rows back from the front of the stage! AMAZING SEATS! THANK YOU SO MUCH! We got the kids seated, got their 3D glasses on and got ready to experience "The Christmas Spectacular" in all it's glory! It was a brilliant show! Not sure that words can even do it justice! Our kids loved the 3D movie of Santa arriving in the city. The ROCKETTES are amazing dancers & performers and Santa wasn't half bad himself. My kids were captivated...yes, even the 3 & 1 year old (almost until the very end of the show). The lights, the music, the snow falling, and the excitement on stage made this something that our entire family could enjoy! I love watching my kids take it in.

CLICK HERE FOR A SNEAK PEEK OF WHAT WE SAW LIVE I have to say...I was THOROUGHLY impressed...and even more so, that the show also included a LIVE Navitivy scene that was breathtaking! I'm so glad that, despite the current world status, they were not afraid to include the true reason why many of us celebrate CHRISTMAS! THANK YOU for that! My kids were excited about the animals, but even more about seeing Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus on center stage...receiving HIS gifts from the 3 kings. BEAUTIFUL!
All I can say is THANK YOU! I am overcome with emotion, when I think about the memories my kids made last night seeing this remarkable show. This was something they will never forget...nor will I. We had a great time, as a family, enjoying "The Christmas Spectacular" at Radio City Music Hall.

If you are ever in NYC and have the opportunity to see this show at the Radio City Music Hall...GO! CLICK HERE to purchase tickets! Not in NYC? Don't worry...they have a National Tour & you can see it live too (CLICK HERE)! You will be just as impressed as we were with it! Maybe even more?

Another Teaser Of Something To Come...NovaLash Extensions

One of the things I like best about "blogging" to & for other mommies, is the opportunity to learn (and experience sometimes) products that will make us feel Fabulous & sometimes even Glamourous! I always wondered, why should only the Hollywood Stars get to look perfect all the time? Can't stay at home mommies look fantastic and feel great about themselves too? We deserve it as much, if not more than they do, right? And then I realize...they have unlimited bank accounts and make-up & hair sylists that travel with them, making sure they never have an off moment. For us stay at home mom's, who do not have that financial luxury to have those amazing opportunities, I love finding companies, like the one I get to tell you about...that bring the HOLLYWOOD look into a more "cost appealing" realm for us.

What is it?

The NovaLash Eyelash Extensions are actually a way of adding length and thickness to your natural lashes. A professional takes hair by hair and applies it onto your own lashes for a natural look. The result? Do you see the picture above? AMAZING looking lashes that aren't going to come right off when you shower. They grow out with your natural lashes, etc.

Yes...they will require up-keep, but if it's something that makes me feel self confident about my eyes, (especially for those who have very few, short or light colored lashes) which is one of the first things people see when they meet me, then I think it might be worth it. It's kind of like getting fills on acrylic nails.

On December 1st, I have the opportunity to meet with a
NovaLash licensed technician, who will be applying a full set of NovaLash Extensions on my eyes. I will definitely be taking lots of pictures and sharing in detail my experience with the NovaLash product. I can't wait! I am excited to see how they look, how long they last before requiring a "fill", etc. What an amazing opportunity. I feel so blessed!

If you're curious if there is a NovaLash trained technician in your area...
